FAQs
What is the OKRE Big List?
The OKRE Big List is a way for charities and the entertainment industry to discover shared goals and trends.
The first participants in the list were announced at the OKRE Summit 2022, with topics including gender-based violence, food systems and climate change.
Through a series of short films, charities on the Big List can talk about their upcoming priorities, providing an insight into key issues likely to be of interest to the public in the future.
Sharing these priorities will help build meaningful partnerships between entertainment and charity.
Optional buttonHow do I get involved?
The contact details for charities involved in the films can be found underneath each film.
The OKRE Big List is an ongoing project and we are keen to hear from charities who would like to get involved. To organise a chat, please email [email protected].
Is membership of the OKRE Big List a paid service?
No, no payment or membership is necessary to be considered for the Big List – just an interest in collaborating with the entertainment industry to create content with impact.
Why is this important?
Charities have a wealth of knowledge and experience that could provide value to entertainment creators looking to have social or cultural impact through their work. We want to create a mutually beneficial community of experts and content creators to tackle misinformation and misrepresentation.
We know that there is considerable appetite from both the entertainment industry and the charity sector to work together, however our conversations with both suggest that too often partnerships happen too late in the content creation process to have real impact. The OKRE Big List will help provide a way for charities and entertainment to connect early in projects’ lifecycles, increasing the potential for meaningful collaboration.
Why should I join the OKRE Big List?
Being part of the OKRE Big List is a way for you to share your charity’s goals, expand your network and build collaborations with the entertainment industry, helping communities outside the charity sector understand your work.
